Another error found in Ohio's medical marijuana cultivator scoring process
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A latest error in the method Ohio regulators scored applications to grow medical marijuana has surfaced, however the Ohio Department of Commerce said it won't affect the 24 provisional licenses it awarded in November. An ongoing audit of the scoring process with Ohio Auditor Dave Yost's office identified a discrepancy among the individual marks & last scores awarded on scoring rubrics for Ohio Clean Leaf LLC, that applied for sites in Dayton & Carroll. The Department of Commerce, that oversees marijuana cultivators, processors & testing labs, acknowledged the discrepancy Monday however insisted the last scores awarded were accurate. The scoring differences would have been sufficient to disqualify Ohio Clean Leaf, Chief Deputy Auditor Robert Hinkle wrote in a letter to the commerce department on April 20.
