The Blacklist's Ryan Eggold Returns to NBC for Medical Drama
The Blacklist actor Ryan Eggold certainly had the rug pulled out from under him. But, it appears that Eggold going to remain a prominent portion of the Peacock Network's proverbial feathers, since he's only landed another small screen series – a medical drama – on that he going to star. NBC's untitled medical drama – formerly titled Bellevue – going to see Ryan Eggold join as its main star. The untitled medical drama – that was put into the pipeline back in September – was written with David Schulner (Emerald City, The Event), who too serves as executive Maker. Eggold, who for 4 seasons co-starred on The Blacklist before moving on to star in the short-lived spinoff Blacklist: Redemption, going to play the aforementioned latest director Max Hollander, who is driven to the point of exhausting himself & everyone around him, including his wife who recently separated from him. He's set to restore the infirmary to its previous glory — or get kicked out trying.
