Vice president’s physician resigns amid ongoing furor over White home Medical Unit

A White home doctor who lifted concerns about Ronny L. Jackson, the president's previous physician & scuttled nominee to run the Department of Veterans Affairs, has quit. Jennifer Peña, the vice president's lead doctor, left her position on Friday, according to a White home spokeswoman. "The Vice President's Office was informed today with the White home Medical Unit of the resignation," Alyssa Farah, the vice president's spokeswoman, says in a statement. "Physicians assigned to the Vice President report to the White home Medical Unit & thus any resignation would go entirely out of the medical unit, not the vice president's office."Peña did not replyto requests for comment. Officials reported this 7 days which Jackson would not return as Trump's personal physician however would still to work within the White home Medical Unit.
