Of the 21 initially announced statuses on eight probably 2018, 17 had epidemiological links (possibility contacts by another suspicious status). Over the final 4 decades, the Democratic Republic of Congo has experienced eight Ebola outbreaks. The ongoing epidemic is located in the Bikoro health Region, located in Equateur county, in western Democratic Republic of the Congo & on the border by the Republic of Congo. Bikoro is situated in Equateur county on the shores of Lake Tumba in the north-western portion of the country near the Republic of the Congo. This is DRC's 9th outbreak of EVD ever ever the discovery of the virus in the country in 1976.
