Washington Legislature confirms gay conversion medication ban

The Washington Legislature has passed a bill to ban licensed therapists from trying to change a minor's sexistorientation. The Senate agreed on changes made in the home to Senate Bill 5722 & passed it on a 33-16 vote Saturday. The bill would deem it "unprofessional conduct" for a licensed health care suppliers to perform conversion medication on a patient under the age of 18. Under the measure, if the suppliers violates the law, they would face sanctions ranging from fines to license revocation or suspension. Changes made in the home involve the measure applying to non-licensed counselors operating as portion of a religious Administration, religious denomination or church.

If the bill is confirmed then Washington going to be the 10th U.S. state to ban the practice. SB 5722 has been sent off to governor Jay Inslee for consent. If Inslee confirms the bill then gay 'cure' therapies on minors going to be made illegal across the state of Washington. "It's time for Washington to join the growing number of states & municipalities who are enacting these critical protections. Earlier this 7 days, the European Union voted to condemn the practice, & it urged all of its member states to ban it.

as mentioned in Washington State has sent a bill that would ban the widely condemned pracice of gay 'cure' medication on minors, to the Governor's office for last consent. If signed into law with Inslee, Washington State going to be the 10th state in the America to explicitly ban the practice for minors. The bill would build on the existing user prevention law to introduce a possible conviction under state law for gay 'cure' practitioners. The Britain Gov. soon said it would consider banning gay 'cure' medication. & earlier this 7 days the European Parliament overwhelmingly voted to condemn gay 'cure' medication & urged member countries to ban the harmful practice.
