A Marine recruit died Sunday after experiencing an unspecified "medical emergency" at Marine Corps Recruit Depot on Saturday, officials says. The recruit died at eleven:43 a.m. after he was admitted to an off-foundation medical facility around midnight Saturday for an unspecified medical emergency, military officials says. It was not clear what led up to the medical emergency however the recruit was being monitored due to "ongoing physical health issues," the Marine Corps says. The recruit was listed in critical condition Saturday, according to a Marine Corps statement. "Supporting the recruit's family is our highest priority & we still to work closely by them during this generality difficult time," says Brig.

A Marine Recruit In San Diego Died After A Medical Emergency

as informed in A Marine recruit who experienced an unspecified medical emergency during boot camp in San Diego has died, Corps officials reported on Sunday. The recruit, whose name hasn't been released, was pronounced dead at eleven:43 am on Sunday at an off-foundation medical facility, according to the recruit depot. A drill instructor replied to the recruit's medical emergency around midnight on March 24, giving him CPR until the premier responders arrived. Medical officials are determining the method the recruit died, a recruit depot break news release said. Gen. William Jurney, commanding general of the recruit depot, said in a break news release.
