LA GRANGE, Texas (KXAN) — 2 Texas students jumped into action final Thursday while their school bus driver had a medical emergency while driving on a bridge over the Colorado River. He said he sat on the bus driver's lap & drove for a couple of miles. In all, 7 were onboard — 6 students & the bus driver. "I'm used to driving," he said, adding which he wasn't dismay to get behind the wheel of the school bus. He too said bus drivers are required to undergo yearly physicals, to ensure they're in perfect condition to drive.
