Matthews pleaded guilty in August to 1 count of causing a drug to be misbranded, according to the Florida Times Union. Matthews, 47, is currently a high school football helper coach & radio personality in Florida. According to the court of law, he was paid $440,000 for lining up discounts representatives who secured TRICARE patients for the pharmacy. Matthews was a 3-time All-SEC quarterback at Florida & played in the NFL for 14 years for the Bears, Redskins, Bills & Dolphins.
