Medical marijuana bill gains traction by Tennessee Republicans
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A bill to legalize medical marijuana in Tennessee is making its method out of the state's General Assembly, & is gaining backing from some prominent Republicans. The Medical hashishAct, HB 1749, is sponsored by Rep. Jeremy Faison, R-Cosby, & Sen. Steve Dickerson, R-Nashville. "I believe it is time for America to take action on the state standard by regards to medical marijuana," Harwell says in a statement. Harwell & Terry says medical marijuana has shown promise in alleviating condition like seizures & Opium withdrawal.
