Dr. Valerie Rao, the Jacksonville chief medical examiner, testified which Cherish Perrywinkle sustained severe hurts from being raped & strangled, including a "'totally destroyed anatomy." Smith allegedly lured her family to Walmart by promises to purchas a McDonald's meal & latest clothing. Rao listed the hurts Cherish sustained before she was murdered. Rao says the force used during the strangulation was so strong which Cherish suffered skin abrasions. She says Cherish tried to battle back & managed to "inflict an hurt on Smith's penis" after he allegedly attempted oral sex on her.
