VFW's advocacy on Capitol Hill is based on national resolutions passed with thousands of delegates who attend our annual national convention. Our members have made it soclear out of these surveys & national resolutions which the overwhelming majority of them prefer to see their VA got better, not dismantled. Yet Mr. Lamborn introduced legislation which would dismantle the health-care system designed for & specializing in caring for those who have worn our nation's uniform. no bady in the VFW or our sister organizations here on Capitol Hill going to ever call the VA good, however it is a health-care system worth keeping, preventing & fixing, particularly after the nationwide problem in care & confidence which engulfed it 3 years ago.
