ANDREA PECK — THE OAKLAND PRESSAfter a weekend of protests against executive orders on refugees signed last week by President Donald Trump, close to 100 people gathered on Monday in Troy to protest a proposed repeal of the Affordable Care Act.The rally started at noon outside of the office of U.S. Rep. Dave Trott, R-Birmingham, located at 625 E. Big Beaver Road."We are asking Congressman Dave Trott to protect the Affordable Care Act," said Lauren Else, a volunteer with Organizing for Action, the group that put together the rally.
