ALGONQUIN – Village officials are considering plans for a medical marijuana dispensary that could open in Algonquin in the coming year.The business would operate similar to a pharmacy and distribute limited quantities of marijuana to patients with a prescription from a doctor, according to village documents.Ross Morreale, representing ILDISP III, LLC, has petitioned the village for a special use permit that would allow the company to build an attached garage to the property at 1154 N. Main St. to provide space for secure delivers and removal of waste product, village documents show.
