Ohio officials release proposed rules for medical marijuana growers
CINCINNATI -- Ohio officials plan to issue 18 licenses to grow medical marijuana in the state at a cost of $200,000 each for the cultivators.Those licenses would be split among 12 large growers and six smaller growers, according to proposed rules released by the Ohio Department of Commerce Tuesday.Officials plan to have the rules finalized by next May in order to have the medical marijuana program operating by September 2018.
