People in Wisconsin buying health insurance on the federal marketplace known as Healthcare.gov will have fewer choices this year because several insurers have pulled out of the exchange due to low profits.The Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance estimates more than 37,000 people will no longer be able to keep their old health plan because it's no longer offered on the marketplace.Deputy Insurance Commissioner J.P. Wieske said those impacted will automatically be enrolled in another plan if they don't choose one themselves.

President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma Thursday October 20 received the final recommendations of the Sierra Leone Social and Health Insurance (SLSHI) Scheme from two consultants of Tanzanian origin at State House in Freetown.The two consultants, according to Mr Joseph Sedu Mans, Director General of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT), are in the country to help provide technical support in building the proposed Social and Health Insurance scheme which will be launched next year.Welcoming the consultants, President Koroma informed about the importance government attaches to the project, emphasizing that his administration wants to work on the scheme very fast to save the lives of Sierra Leoneans, particularly the vulnerable.
