KINGSTON, N.Y. >> The Ulster County Department of Health will hold a dozen clinics to offer flu shots to local residents beginning Oct. 26.According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, getting an annual flu vaccine is the first and best way for a person to protect herself and her family from the flu.The vaccination can reduce flu illnesses, doctors' visits, and missed work and school, according to the CDC website.
