Should our health care be more like Europe's? U.K. nurse complains of 'soul-destroying' system
Former President Bill Clinton stepped in it this week when he pointed out that Obamacare has been a costly headache for many Americans whose incomes put them just above the cut-off for government subsidies."You've got this crazy system," he said at a campaign rally for his wife, "where all of a sudden 25 million more people have health care, and then the people who are out there busting it sometimes 60 hours a week wind up with their premiums doubled and their coverage cut in half."Clinton has clarified his remarks, saying he has "supported [the Affordable Care Act] strongly from the get-go," but that it needs improvements that the Republican Congress has refused to consider.
