CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office has identified two people who died in crashes over the weekend in Cleveland.Reno Jones, 56, of Wickliffe, died Sunday after being struck by a hit-and-run driver just after midnight on St. Clair Avenue near East 140th Street.A South Euclid woman driving a 2008 Ford Edge struck Jones in a crosswalk.

A 15-year-old boy found in a burning trash can on the West Side last month died from burns and his death has been ruled a homicide by the Cook County medical examiner's office.Demetrius Griffin Jr., a freshman at Steinmetz High School, was found around 1:30 a.m. Sept. 17 in an alley in the 5500 block of West Cortez Street, hours after he missed his curfew, according to his family.His body was found burned beyond recognition, and it took the medical examiner's office nearly a month to determine the cause and manner of death.
