BETHLEHEM – A nonprofit group dedicated to health insurance has reached a partnership with three companies to provide smaller employers a self-insurance program typically available only to larger employers.Lehigh Valley Business Coalition of Healthcare in Bethlehem said Tuesday it has formed an agreement with Emerson Reid, CoreSource and Excess Reinsurance to provide insurance to coalition-member employers with 50 or more workers.The partnership, according to the coalition, offers employers eight medical insurance plans and two pharmacy options through brokers and consultants.
