NORFOLK, Va. - The Navy says a sailor who never reported being pregnant has given birth to a baby girl aboard an aircraft carrier at sea.Naval Forces Central Command spokesman Cmdr.Bill Urban told the Virginian-Pilot the 7-pound (3.1-kilogram) infant was recently born on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in the Persian Gulf.

Eisenhower witnessed a curious case of childbirth recently wherein a sailor gave birth to a 7-pound (3.1 kilogram) baby girl aboard the aircraft carrier after complaining of a stomach ache.Apparently, the sailor was not aware of her pregnancy until she gave birth.Commander Bill Urban, a spokesman for the Navy's Fifth Fleet, informed that the family practitioner Ike, certified in child birth, delivered the baby.
