BEMIDJI -- Sanford Bemidji is offering seasonal influenza vaccinations to adults age 19 and older at a flu vaccine clinic, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 5 at the Sanford Pharmacy at 1611 Anne St.No appointment is needed, but patients should bring their insurance ID card, Sanford Bemidji said in a release.Because of a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendation, the nasal mist flu vaccine will not be offered.Those who already have a clinic appointment scheduled can receive a flu vaccination during that appointment.

SPRINGDALE -- The Arkansas Department of Health is offering a public mumps vaccination clinic today at The Jones Center as an outbreak of the disease continues.The vaccine, which also includes protection against measles and rubella, will be available from 8 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. along with the separate seasonal flu vaccine, according to a department announcement.Anybody in line by closing time at the center at 922 E. Emma Ave. will be able to get the vaccine, department spokeswoman Meg Mirivel said.
