Government health insurance saves lives

We have been the victims of a healthcare system that is controlled by for-profit health insurance companies. The simple fact is that a system that allows for-profit health insurance companies (that are illegal everywhere else in the world) DOES NOT WORK. There were lifetime limits that allowed the insurance companies to cut you off in the middle of treatment. The ACA wasn't the reason that premiums increased after it became law; it was the insurance companies that raised the rates. Allow me to be redundant: Medicare is the best and most affordable health insurance that I've ever had.
