Team Sky said in a statement they had "co-operated fully with Ukad's investigation and we will continue to do so. Sapstead said Freeman's dual role, with British Cycling and Sky, made keeping track of medical interventions all the harder. In contravention of Sky policies, Freeman failed to upload medical records from the race to a communal database, Sapstead said. While Freeman said it was Fluimucil, a non-proscribed decongestant, Sapstead said there were no records of British Cycling ever purchasing the drug in the UK. The two organisations even had different policies on keeping records of drugs, she said, with British Cycling appearing not to have any guidelines at all.
Trump's disingenuous attack on the FDA highlights the precarious future of medical research funds
Trump's disingenuous attack on the FDA highlights the precarious future of medical research fundsTrump used a survivor of a rare disease to attack the FDA. The FDA and NIH concurrently began encouraging development of rare disease treatments, and focused on conducting their own clinical research. Attacking FDA regulations as the culprit behind slow advances in medicine, Trump pointed to one of his special guests, college student Megan Crowley.
