Donald Trump: Affordable Health Care Option according to : Fortune

Many health economists, myself included, view supply-side initiatives as extremely important because of their potential to lower overall health care spending. For example, bundled-payment arrangements by public and private payers (Medicare and large employer plans) can reduce health care costs by lowering the fees paid to doctors and health care facilities. An example is the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation , which promotes the development and testing of health care payment and service delivery models. As the debate around health care reform continues—whether repeal-and-replace or repair-and-amend—lawmakers should look beyond the demand side of how consumers access and pay for their care. Given that the U.S. continues to spend one-third of GDP on health care, this may be a priority that both parties can support.

Donald Trump: Affordable Health Care Option
An average personal care aide or medical assistant, common entry-level health care positions, earns around $10–$15 per hour. At the same time, there has been a rise in service-sector occupations, many of which are female-dominated health care occupations, such as registered nurses, home health aides, and personal care aides. This all signals that men, and particularly white men who are able to gain additional training, may be defining some health care occupations as more technical and masculine, preserving the conventional understandings of masculinity within the health care sector. Specifically, we looked at entry-level jobs in the health care sector. We found that there has been no increase in the percentage of men in health care occupations that require tasks most associated with femaleness, like bathing, feeding, or toileting.

Let The Market Fix Health Care

In some instances they reward employers and providers of care to fill health care gaps. When President Barack Obama proposed his federal takeover of the health care system, he was right about one thing: American medical care was a mess. People are suffering, so Congress needs to "fix" health care now. Misguided government intervention created the health care mess we've got. Moreover, employees, not employers, should control their health insurance coverage.
