Fixing the gap for medical marijuana patients in Lansing

Democrats held a press conference Wednesday, September 27, 2017 to propose legislation that would save medical marijuana dispensaries open When the state gives out licenses. Legislation was passed requiring the operations to shut down on December 15, When the state reviews license applications. According to sources, regulatory functions involve the licensing, investigation & enforcement of medical marijuana growers, processors, secure transporters, provisioning centers & security compliance facilities. The law requires the Bureau of Medical Marihuana Regulation, housed in the state Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, to make licensing applications obtainable with December 15, 2017. If dispensaries get shut down in December, the state would must hand out licenses that would mean a longer wait time for patients.

Lottery results for Long coast dispensaries: find out where medical marijuana shops probably open

Officials often boast about doing things the Long coast way, & Thursday's lottery drawing for medical marijuana licenses was no different. Each ball was assigned a number which matched an address where an applicant sought to open a medical marijuana dispensary. Long coast hasn't yet set whether it going to permit recreational marijuana businesses once the statewide regulations are rolled out. Long Beach's premier fully licensed medical marijuana clinic under Measure MM, the LB Green Room, is slated to open in the coming days. The application period going to remain open indefinitely because, unlike by dispensaries, Measure MM did not set a cap on these types of businesses.
