Congress, president need to act before health care implodes – Long Island Business News
Just when you thought there were no statesman left in the United States Senate, Sen. John McCain stood up to vote thumbs down on his party's pathetic version of health care reform. Cantor is director of the Long Island Center for Socio-Economic Policy and a former Suffolk County economic development commissioner. Well the health plan offered by Senate Republicans and voted against by McCain certainly does. This lack of choice has limited where enrollees can get tax credits based on their income to help offset insurance costs. Unforgettable was President Obama himself who boasted that Obamacare would save $2,500 in premiums per year and if enrollees liked their doctors and insurance companies they could keep them.collected by :Lucy William
