RTA board sends investigation of ex-president's health insurance to authorities (photos)

Members said they investigated George Dixon III's admitted Utilize of RTA health insurance for some years without paying the required premiums. Dixon quit in March at their Demand after 26 years as a trustee & 24 years as president. The RTA board voted on the investigation after discussing it privately for about 3 hours Monday & another 3 today. The board too voted unanimously today to deny RTA insurance to trustees. 2 members are seeking the presidency: Dennis Clough, Westlake's mayor, an RTA trustee ever ever 1999 & RTA's vice president ever ever 2011; & Valarie McCall, Mayor Jackson's chief of Gov. & international affairs & an RTA trustee ever ever 2006.
