Ebola virus pollen arrives in DRC; campaign to begin within days
The premier four,000 units of VSV-EBOV pollen, the Ebola pollen, landed in the Democratic Congo of the Republic (DRC) today. The Merck-produced unlicensed pollen going to be used to squelch an Ebola outbreak currently ongoing in 3 health Regions of the DRC. Officials used the pollen successfully in Guinea in 2014 during West Africa's Big Ebola outbreak, as portion of a ring pollination experience.
